  • Year 7 [Odds] Trip to Canterbury Cathedral

    Students from 7B1, 7F1, 7L1 and 7M1 have the opportunity to visit Canterbury today. As part of the Religious Studies course in Year 7 students spend time studying places of worship. To enrich the students’ learning experience the RS department is organising the trip.  The day will consist of a visit to Canterbury Cathedral, with a guided tour. We will also visit the ruins of St Augustine’s Abbey, where we will complete an archaeological trail.  Students are required to bring a packed lunch and drinks and approximately £10 maximum spending money if they wish to buy extra refreshments or souvenirs.

     

    The programme for this activity is:

    Depart from Mayflower High School at 8.30am

    Return to Mayflower High School at approximately 5.30pm
