Ofsted – Overall effectiveness Outstanding
I am delighted to inform parents, students, staff and governors that the school has been judged to be overall Outstanding, following the two days of Ofsted inspection on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 March 2016.
I would like to thank you all for your unfailing support in helping the school to achieve the best possible outcome. The final report should be published on the Ofsted website with effect from Monday 18 April, 2016. Thank you again for your continued support and well done to all.

Pupils from Mayflower High School are set to become Digital Leaders after joining an innovative new internet safety programme from UK charity, Childnet International.

We'd like to share a great opportunity through the Mid-Essex Initial Teacher Training Professional Learning Network. A chance for Undergraduates to work in an Essex School for 6 weeks in June/July to see if teaching is the path for you. This is an internship paying £1800. Please see the flyer below.
