Pupil support premiums

The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011. The Pupil Premium Grant is allocated to schools to work with students who have been registered for free school meals (FSM) at any point in the last 6 years (known as Ever 6 FSM), Looked After Children (LAC), children adopted from care or who have left care and children of service personnel (known as Ever 5 Service).  The funding is not ring-fenced per student and can be used for initiatives that include but are not limited to, pupil premium students.  The funding is available for students in Year 7 to 11.

Mayflower High School has appointed Mrs Sally Nichols as Pupil Premium Co-ordinator to oversee the spending of this additional funding.
