It gives us great pleasure to introduce our two Head Students, Divine and Leon.
Having applied for the role and been successful, they now lead our student leadership team and serve as outstanding ambassadors and role models for all students at Mayflower High School. We thank them for their ongoing contributions to the life of the school.
Message from Izzie
My name is Izzie, and I am currently in Year 13. I am incredibly honoured to have been chosen as one of this year’s Head Students. I am studying A Level Politics, A Level Sociology, and Health & Social Care.
I joined Mayflower High School in September to continue my studies in the Sixth Form. As an external student, I was immediately struck by the strong sense of community within the school, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to it even further.
I am passionate about ensuring that all students feel heard and supported, and I aim to be a friendly and approachable figure for both students and parents. My main goals for this year are to promote student wellbeing and to contribute to a welcoming and inclusive school culture.
If you ever need anything, please do come and find me.

Message from Henry
My name is Henry, and I am a Sixth Form student studying A Levels in Mathematics, Economics, and Politics. I am honoured to have been appointed as one of this year’s Head Students, and I look forward to working closely with both students and staff to help make Mayflower High School an even better place to learn and grow.
I believe it is essential that students’ voices are not only heard but that their ideas are actively incorporated into school life. One of my key aims is to be approachable and easy to talk to, so if you have a suggestion or simply wish to talk, please do not hesitate to come and speak with me. Your voice matters.
